Anybody using Crane Powermax 2032?

I'm looking at that cam for my 89 TBI. I was just wondering if anybody is using it, what it sounds like, how much performance did it offer, and are you still using the stock computer ok.

I am using the Crane 2050 in my 86 Trans Am 305 TPI 5 speed.
I'll let you know next week how it works.
We got most of the motor apart tonight, need to get a puller to get the balancer off of the crank so we can pull the timing chain cover off.

I'm using the 2050 as well, with the extensive mods listed in sig. Quantified performance TBD, but SOTP is vastly improved. Sounds really tough. Stock computer hasn't complained a bit (not sure how a TBI would react, though). Capability to remove gasoline from the tank has also been increased dramatically.

To sum it all up, one word is enough...

...AWESOME!

The 2032 is a pretty big cam for a 305 TBI... 214/220 ?? Expect to be doing some prom tuning. The TBI cars seem to love the stock TPI and LT1 cams, and they're cheap and easy to find used.
