My driver's side window refuses to work. I have power windows.

Here is the situation. I was driving along through an intersectiona nd some a** thinks he can be cool and turn past me during a skid, well needless to say he lost control because it was wet out, so I quickly steered out of the way into a nice patch of ice, after fish tailing about 3 times I was back in a straight line. SO continuing on i went to put my window down and it would not budge, no noise or anything. Oddly enough right before "the incident" it was working.

Any ideas?

 

u could try the connection on the switchs on the consoul.

 

Sounds like the control wires might have come loose. Check them at the switch, and at the motor.

 

Sounds like you were going to light up a cigarette after the near-miss!

I agree with the other guys in checking the wires on the switch then proceed with checking your fuses or even relays. Then the last place to check is the motor itself. After that the only thing gone bad is the motor. Hope that helps
