oil pressure gauge question
What would cause an oil pressure gauge to peg on the high side when the key is just turned to the on position and once the engine is turned over it stays above 80 lbs and will not drop??

Check the wire on the oil pressure gage sender, sounds like it's grounding out on something

Thanks for the quick replies. I'm leaning towards the loose wire or grounded wire since I just had some work done to it and I found the cts wire not connected.
