hey all.. i have an 83 z28 originally came with the LG4.. the car has a rebuilt 350( i believe the block is from the early 70's) when i replace my spark plugs do i just tell the guy i have an 83 z??? will the plugs be the same for a 350 and 305??

also are the Bosch Platinum+4 plugs worth buying?? $5.99 a piece.

Stay away from the platinums

 

Platinum, in itself, is fine. It isn't necessary, but it's O.K. Stay away from the +4s, however. One side electrode is plenty.

 

I've heard that their isn't much gain in high end spark plugs, atleast not worth the price.

 

IMHO i think that the 4's are too much and i have been told that unless you have a high HP engine (500+) that those are worthless....i use the 2's and they work fine for me....really nice and i notice a bit of a difference in the response of my car and truck...i use them on my 89 IROC, 02 Yukon and 97 1500....i like them and would recommend them....
