Hurst shifter
Not exactly sure where to post this ,so if it's in the wrong spot, sorry. A friend of mine needed money bad so he sold me a brand new Hurst shifter for $25. Only problem was he couldn't find the 4-mounting bolts. The intructions said not to reuse the stock bolts(I imagine they're to short). I am pretty sure they're 8mm bolts but does anyone have any idea on the lenght? I've have had it setting in my closet for about 6 months now and would like to put this in but the bolts are holding me back. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could go to Hurst's website http://go.mrgasket.com/brands.aspx?BrandID=2 ,they are part of Mr Gasket now. Then you could contact tech/customer support or dowload an instruction manual.Hope this might help you.

Yea...i found that web site earlier. I looked on that site and found the installation instructions, said the bolts are 8mm but no lenght. The phone number on the installation instructions has been disconnected. I sent a email to thier tech division just now, hopefully that will get it done. Either that or i suppose i could just measure the thickness of the mounting plate and add a 1/4 inch. Thanks for the reply

I wrote a letter to thier tech support over at Mr. Gasket yesterday and this is the response they gave me today.
Send us you postal address and we can send you the missing bolts at no charge. Thank you
Now that's good business. Never expected that.
