MSD Blaster Coil Install Q's
I was looking into purchasing a MSD Blaster Ignition Coil for my 89 RS but in the pictures it doesnt show it with any sort of mounting hardware...would it be possible to just drill the rivits on the factory coil and bolt the brackets to the msd coil? Because I would like to keep OEM coil location and distributor cap

I figure you have the small outside the dist. cap coil. If so then yes thats what you'll have to do, drill the rivets out. I've got one and if I remember right I believe the Blaster coil comes with the small bolts and nuts to mount it with.

Yes, you drill out the rivets and then use bolts to mount the coil to the original brackets. The rivets are fairly soft and the operation should not take long to do.
I have an Accel coil and the mounting bolts were supplied.
