Will I damage my car?
Ive had my car up on jackstands for about the past 5 months waitin for a tranny, and the transmission has been pulled. The fuel pump on my moms jeep went out and my brother wants to take my car off the patio to work on the jeep. I have a jack and block of wood up under the engine to support it so it wont hurt the mounts. My question is if i take it off, and there is nothing under the motor, and the toruqe arm has been removed, could this put stress on the motor mounts of anything in the rear and possibly damage somethin?oh yeah, my comps been out of service for about te past month so whats up everybody, hope its been happy motorin for ya.Hasnt for me, lol.

make sure when lowering the motor down that the distributor cap doesn't crack when/if it hits the firewall. in fact to be safe i'd just remove the cap altogether if not just pull the distributor. other than that go ahead and move it.

we removed the distributor when we pulled the tranny at first so we could let the engine tilt backwards so it wouldnt do that and to also make the tranny come out a lil easier.Great tip for all tho
