Brodix 18 STD X heads

I see alot of guys going for power that are just street driven, not class racing or anything. They also don't seem to care about emissions or anything like that neither.

So, the question that comes to mind is, why not go for Brodix 18 STD X heads? You can get quite a bit of flow out of those heads in out of the box form. It doesn't look overly complicated to have a setup built to utilize that. It has a 10* face angle, but port height might be an issue. You can use standard lifters, rockers, and exhaust. You can also get the brodix intake manifold and have it converted for EFI.

You will need 18* pistons, but I don't think that's a big deal if you're getting rebuilt anyway.

expense and not really streetable at all mainly, the pistons are over 500 a set, to take advantage of that nice port you need a radical camshaft to go with it, and usual;ly the compression is really high. for an all out drag car they are definatly a good way to go, but if you want any streetability your just waisting your money on 18 degree heads.

The brodix 18x are junk.Ports are too small. If u want good 18* heads i would go with a brodix 18c ,dart 18, or GM 18.

That depends on your definition of streetability. If u scare easily these heads are not for u.There is a member (seejgo) here that drove something like 100 miles in stop and go traffic , he has a 400" 800 hp all motor car. It`s all about how much can u afford.
