STILL cant get car to start...
Ok, i fixed my problem with the leaking oil, it was a oil pressure sensor plug. Still have my problem with getting no spark.
If i hotwire the coil, i can get spark out of it by itself, while hook up to the dizzy, no spark on any wire.
Coil good, i had all 3 of my ICM's checked, they all show good, i tested them on my friends camaro. Dizzy is new (old one had a crack) and pickupcoil reads good. Im getting power threw the black wire, and ground to the white. the 4 prong plug to the dizzy is plugged in, and the 2 prong one from the coil is plugged in. I am out of stuff to test, everything else works, im getting gas (smell it out exhaust), everything is plugged in, ive checked all plugs for corrosion, made sure ecu is plugged in, checked all the fuses and fusible links. Im out of places to look.
Any ideas anyone? i really need to get this car running, i allready lost my job because of it, and i cant get a new one unless the car runs to get to it, everywhere withen a 2 mile radious of me wont hire.
Thanks you

pull the cap off, there's probably carbon trails. Replace that and the rotor and you might just get spark.
[edit] didnt read the part where you said it was new. If youre not getting spark within the dizzy it's that, just cuz its new doesnt mean its not faulty.

Not coil and cap design.
I tested my coil and my ICM in my friends camaro, both worked, and the dizzy i have is out of his camaro, he replaced it with a msd ignition, and it worked when i took it out (last weekend)
