oil pressure how to check

Car: i have a 2003 ford zx2 and a 1989 f
Engine: 350 tuned port, 4 banger on the Z
Transmission: 700r4 poop loser
Axle/Gears: 3.23 standard ...one tire fire
oil pressure how to check

so im driving today and i notice that the oil pressure is really low i got out and put 2 quarts in ... no diffrence ... my oil pressure was almost 55ish when normal driving and now its below 30 ... what gives i had someone tell me that its a sign that one of valve stem seals just went .. but im not burning anymore oil than usally i was wondering if my oil pump just went bad or any other things you guys can think of. let me know if any one has any ideas

A valve stem seal will not cause an oil pressure loss. Chances are the oil pressure sender has something to do with the problem, but you can verify the actual oil pressure by connecting a mechanical test gauge.
