Will this pan fit?

I am putting a carbed 350 in the 89RS and was wondering if this pan will fit...its a pre-80 010 block from a pass. car.

I am wondering if there will be any clearance problems at the cross member.

Thanks!
Mike

I have two "010" blocks. One has a passenger side dipstick pan, and the other has a driver's side dipstick pan. They both fit my 84' Camaro the same.

Would have helped if I told you the pan I was looking at...lol

Its a replacement steel pan from summit....part number SUM-G3500X.

Its only $21.00 and seems like a good deal if it will fit and decent construction.

Thanks! Mike

You shouldn't have any problems, it's just a basic stock replacement pan. It is for driver's side dipstick though, so I'de check your block if you are unsure. Like I said, I have two 3970010 blocks, and one has the driver's side provision cast right into the block, and the other one doesn't, it has an external dipstick.
