alright i have my LG4 granted its a boat anchor, lets get passed that, for the money i have i need to build this till i probally get rid of it to a underclass man, i will make sure my school has to deal with it for a long time.
alright
first lets get this problem out. it seems im loosing coolant, theres no coolant in the motor, but i dont know where its transfering to and such. gaskets look good, no seepage from block. so im confused. second, i want to build the top end of the motor, what heads, and what intake/carb do you all think i should use for moderate cost, im not looking to make it a 13 second car, just something that hits mid 14's

You could perform a cooling system pressure test. That may reveal internal leakage (head gaskets, intake gaskets, casting cracks). You could also remove all the spark plugs, paying attention to where each was installed. A really clean plug may be a sign of coolant leakage into that cylinder.
If you discover an internal leak, you may be removing those heads sooner than you think.
