Bouncing Speedo

Bouncing Speedo
My Speedo is bouncing. Will start at correct MPH per GPS and then slide down 6-8 mph. Will bounce when turning. Where should I start?

Start with lubing the cable.
If your car has cruise, it can also be the cruise regulator doing it, by being worn out and having friction.

If you have any luck in curing the problem, please post (I sent my speedo head in to be serviced. I lubed the cable, then replaced it and the needle still bounces a bit).
