Not about my camaro but maybe you guys will know

Ok sorry this topic isnt about my 3rd gen (Its running fine) Its about my DD my 96 saturn sl2... the damn SES light keeps coming on for the throttle positioning sensor low voltage.. i replaced it.. and it still comes on but only everyonce in a while.. it usually is on for 20miles or so then shuts off for a few days or minutes then turns on again.. when it comes on the idle bounces around real bad from 300-1500 or it just idles at 1500.. and then again sometimes when i hit the clutch it just drops all the way down and dies.. i know its weird.. i took it to the shop and it wouldn't do it so they said there was nothing they can do.. also its non-adjustable thanks for all the help guys

If you were getting a DTC for low TPS, replaced the sensor, and the problem is still ocurring, check the wiring to the sensor.

If you think the TPS is a PITA, wait until you have to deal with the upside-down automatic trans in those.

Did you disconnect the battery to reset the ECM?

That doesn't always work on an OBD-II system. the battery has to be dead for a long time to clear the PCM.

Check for a spread terminal in the connector. It's not uncommon.
