Carb conversoin ?'s

before i reallly think about this, i could get a performer rpm intake for my car plus a 600-650 cfm carb for free(or may buy 750 for $270), but i am wondering what i would need to do to make this work? i don't know what to do to the computer, what igniton box to get, new fuel pump or not..ect....i saw a few areas about getting the different distributer...my mods are

zzx cam w/ 1.6 rr
dart iron eagle heads..200cc/ 64cc
midwest 2800-3200 stall and transgo shift kit (700r4)
3.42/3.45 australian borgwarner(cant remember gear ratio 1 of them tho)
TES headers custom y-pipe.
150-200 wet shot nitrous

i am thinking about his becaus i was goin to buy a stealthram, 32# injectors, new pump...ect but am thinking about going carbd cuz it'll be free. and it will save me close to 1k if not more....

any help would be great..oh and i did search and did not find anything abnout the computer and other areas

not a hard swap all info is on here. basically you need manifold, carb, hei distributor, 3 port fuel pressure regulator and tranny tvss cable adapter. then computer goes by by. a little wireing for fuel pump, fans and stuff.

yea i wasn't sure if i would be able to just leave the computer in and not have the chip burnt or anything and let it still read the sensors and stuff, i still paln to keep my digital dash, but am getting rid of ac/smog/and egr...the intake is a performer rpm with a 750 holley carb. do you know where i can get the cable adapter and the pressure regualotor (part numbers too???))
thanx for all the help

Lockup can be achieved by an aftermarket kit or a simple toggle switch, thats going to be the least of his worries on this swap!

oh forgot the easiest way to get lockup, find a canadian car. Almost all of the carbed canadian cars didnt have a computer and used a small vac switch to operate the lockup. Probably get one free at the junkyard...
