no spark - coil or module?
had the car running yesterday and was gonna take it out last night and no spark... no warning, either, of course. i have the HEI with remote coil, 12V going to it and thru it to the module, but no spark. i have one of those spark tester things and put it on the coil wire itself and nothing. adjusted the gap to various gaps and nothing. (coil is fairly new, btw, about a year old with less than 500 miles on it) did a coil test today, one step says that it should read infinity, but not getting anything flashing on the meter like it normally does, even if reading an infinite value. so..., i'm thinking it is the coil and not the module. ?

Could be the module cause my car did the same thing and it was the module. To know for sure pull the module and go to a parts store like O`reillys and have them test it for free. You`ll know in a couple minutes if the module is bad!!

yea, that's what i was thinking... i had the module tested just recently, but i guess i'll carry my spare with me when i'm out of the area.
There are quite a few things that could attribute to a no start condition. Id get the module tested again, it could be a problem. Try testing the pick up coil for resistance, Ive had it intermittently work before and then completely lose it one day.
