dart kool can, wont bolt up, suggestions
I recently purchased a used intake, and it wont bolt up to my world heads. Has anyone ever modified one of these to fit? Which are my other options for a dual plane intake? I had a rpm performer knock off on there before, and it ran good with that. I may just save it for my next build.
Which part won't bolt up?
If it's just four of the intake manifold bolts, you can drill (or have drilled) the holes to the proper angle, and they have angled washers available so that the bolts will sit flush against something when snugged down at the new angle.

I found a holley part for $60 that will make it work. I might go to a hardware store and look for angled square washers instead. I thought it would be a big deal, because of possible leaks. thanks

Your not going to find angles washer at the hardware store. You have to buy them specifically for this application. I made mine out of some aluminum tube.
Here is a picture showing my LT1 setup, but you can get what i'm talking about from this.

Thanks, I guess I will just spend $60 instead of cutting corners. That looks strange, with coolant hoses routed like that, i've never seen it. How would I benefit by plumbing coolant lines through my intake. I have 4 ports on the dart intake to do so, I just don't know anything about benefiting from it. later
