lt4 hot cam,lt1 intake
I am building a 87 l98 and am using the lt4 hot cam/and a 2500 stall. and an lt1 intake. staying with the 1.5 rr. The block is bored 40 over and I am using 10.1 flat tops.... my ?? is what kind of power should I have?? What kind of times should I run with a 3.42 gear?? can I use a turbo, nos,or a supercharger with this set up??
The compression is technically too high for higher boost applications. You could run around 5 psi on a supercharger, you could run nos and I wouldnt really recommend a turbo unless you keep the boost low.
I would really recommend 1.6 ratio rockers since the cam lift is pretty low with 1.5 rockers.

I desktop dynoed your application for you. Came up with around 300hp at the flywheel. Ofcoarse this method isn't 100% accurate so you'll have to give or take a couple of ponies. Oh, and I think drivetrain loss for an auto is somewhere around 20%. Like was said before, you could probably run 5-6psi on pump gas supercharged or turbo. However, you could get the boost up even higher on a turbo app. with the use of some alcohol injection, but like any boosted app. it all comes down to how good you can tune and how big your brass is.
