Engine: 305 - LU5 bottom end.
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 2.93 stock :-(
Can i get some help real fast

i wanted to know what my rocker arms should be torqued to. im in the garage right now on my lap top and id i appreciate a fast response

rocker arms? Like the rocker studs right? Depends on the rocker stud brand, maybe 35ftlbs if they're mr gasket non-collared, maybe 60ftlbs if they're ARP collared ones.

If you mean rocker arms, as in the actual rockers, you tighten the nut down, while spinning the pushrod, then after there's a bit of resistance, go another 1/2 turn or so, to put some preload on the pushrod. Or you can do it with the engine running.

Basically, tighten the nut down until the lash is out of the pushrod then 1/2 a turn, tighten the locking nut on them, and while holding them together....another 1/8 of a turn. That's how I set mine and is recommend from Comp Cams.

remember to have the lifters on the base circle of the cam, or else you won't have them tightened properly.
