Weird Random Misfire...Need help here
Like the title says, I've got a random misfire. My car idles fine, at partial throttle (cruise), it is not noticable, at moderate throttle (accel, but not WOT) it cuts out like it is missing, and at WOT it is not too noticable (but it is there). At first, I thought the new chip I burned had too much of a jump in timing, so I went back and smoothed it out. No luck. I also backed off the timing on the main table by 3 to 4 degrees. Not as much power, but still a miss. Moving away from the computer, I rewired the dist. to get the wires away from a heat source (header tube). No luck. I changed out the the cap, coil, rotor, and ign. module. And also changed plugs and wires. No luck. The only thing I haven't changed or checked is the pickup coil. It has about 14 years on it, and 18x,xxx miles on it. Could this be the problem? Thi s is really pissin me off. It seemed to run fine a few months ago. Oh, the engine was rebuilt probably 50,000 miles ago. And my car is a 92 RS w/ a 355 TPI and t56. If anyone has had the same problem or has any suggestions, I'm open for ideas. Thanks.

Could be too lean, u said you are doing the tuning?
Could be a pick up coil also, they dont always just fail outright like people say.
What type of injectors are u running? Are they going bad, poor spray pattern, etc?
Is everything mechanically sound as in no vacuum leaks, etc?
Running the proper gap and spark plug for your setup?

Accel 30 lb injectors, installed probably 30,000 miles ago
Fresh gaskets on my intake, I'm pretty sure there's no vacuum leaks
NGK 6630 (I think that's the P/N) plugs w/ .035" gap
I don't think the fuel map is to blame, it is close to 128 blm (not in PE mode)
It also did this with my ACDelco plugs.
