pinning rocker studs

any recomendations on pin dia. and lenght from people who have done this ? and any sources for pins, no luck here at local hwd. stores.

Axle/Gears: 10 bolt, true-trac, 3.73
3/32" pin, 1" long. I bought 1000 from mcmaster carr, steel has the higher strength compared to stainless.
I could send you a handful if you can't find any otherwise.

sonix, thanks just found them in my mcmaster carr catalog. if you wouldnt mind parting with a few ill gladly pay + shipping. i would hate to buy a 1000 when i only need 20, 16 + 4 accidents. pm me if its ok.

yea, that's what I thought, but no one wanted to split gobs of them with me...

PM with your address, I can probably just throw a mitfull, 30 or something, into a padded letter envelope, it'd cost about $2. You can owe me one.

I used a 3/32 titanium bit and also used 1in long 3/32 pins from Home Depot.

I used a slightly smaller drill bit than the pin size so the pin fit quite snug. Don't forget the drilling oil, it helps once you hit studs.
