Hey All, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the difference is between angled spark plugs and straight plugs on a 89 5.7 stock heads ??

 

The difference is cast into the head, it's the way the spark plug sits in the head, it's not types of spark plugs.

 

it's more or less the way the spark plug fits with the head


a normal spark plug fits like

while the angled spark plug heads are more like

or something similar. I'm not sure which are angled which way but you get the idea

it's more of how the heads are cast if they cast it to where the plugs go into the heads at an angle or straight.

 

RX7 has it right, except the spark plugs all point toward the exhaust valve inside the combustion chamber.
