Inside the dash, there's an H-shaped coupling that has two black lines, a violet line, and a gray line going into it.

One black line goes straight to the intake manifold, and the other goes to the hot-water valve actuator (the ufo-lookin' thing). In the engine compartment, you'll see those two black plastic vacuum lines going into a wiring harness bundle.

The violet and gray lines go to the HVAC controls.

The second pic shows the two lines vanishing into the wire loom.

The line going down out of the frame is connected to the valve actuator. The line going off to the right hits a tee (which goes to the reservoir) then into the intake manifold (vacuum source).

Someone has had the intake off and when they put it back they must have left off the check valve becuase the line that goes to the CC/Vac Ball was hooked directly into the intake. I cant find the vac line anywhere that comes works the heater controls. Should it be in the same loom as the long one going to the big valve at the front of the motor?

Yes, that check valve has the tee built into it.

The end coming out of the check-valve body goes to the intake.

The other end of the valve-body has two nipples. One coming straight out, and the other at a right-angle. The right-angle nipple is connected to the vac reservior. The straight nipple goes to the hot-water valve actuator.
