L69 cam options???
Whats a good cam to upgrade an L69 305? The only mods are a Weiand "action plus" intake manifold, Edelbrock TES headers and the stock L69 catback with a "chokemaster" muffler. The car already has 3.73 gears being an H.O. car. BTW, its an automatic. Ive heard of some guys getting these L69's running in the mid 14 range, if not a little quicker. Let me know what you guys think. Id like to order the cam in a couple days if I can figure out which one would be a good choice. THX

I used a Crane Compucam 2040 and noticed a real SOTP improvement, but never put it on a dyno or got times...
But it worked great with the CCC system. I also ran a Weiand Action plus, TES headers and a Hooker Catback.

Thats interesting. That is actually one of the cams I was looking into. I ran it in a 350 a few years back and was quite pleased with it. Its good to know someone else actually ran one in one of these motors and had good results.
