Got my forged bottom end!!
I got my forged 383 bottom end from cnc-motorsports, 1 piece rms, eagle 4340 3.750 stroke crank, eagle 6.000 bushed H beams, SRP forged flat tops, internal balanced, with all bearings and rings for $1482.95 shipped. Just gotta get my block work done now.
And i would definitely buy from cnc-motorsports.com again, I place my order on 3/20 and recieved it 3/27 pretty fast I thought.

Going from a TBI/305 to a high perf 383!! I did the same thing on my 82Z. You're gonna LOVE it!!!
I have those same rods except mine are the 5.7" ones. They will clear a reg base circle cam with no problem. May even get by without grinding the bottoms of the cyls.
