383 89 iroc vibration and egr question
engine is a new 383, edelbrock aluminum heads, roller rockers, edelbrock big mouth intake, SLP runners, BBK 52 mm throttle body, ....the car has a strong vibration when you rev it up, motor seems to be ok-just the car shakes like heck, no codes show, egr reading is 0. have had it to a shop and had other car guys look at it. no one can figure it out. any suggestions? if i can't get it running soon i'll part the car out.
has built 700r4 (supposed to be able to handle 450 hp), new 3:73 rear end.

I had a similar problem. Car idled fine, sounded great, not dropping any cylinders, but the more you rev it the more it shakes like hell.
Havent had the motor torn down yet but i took it to a really good speed shop and they said its definitly the bottom end. That completly consistant increase in vibration without dropped cylinders is a good sign of a spun bearing or something along those lines.
Maybe the bottom end wasnt put together properly and recieved some damage
