ok here we go
I swaped out for a 350 edelbrock 600cfm carb performer intake, mallory fpr set at 6psi,
1. my car seems to always smell like fuel. If my carcoal canister does not have the vaccum line hooked up could that cause it.
2. my car seems to buck when you are trying to cruise. light preasure on the gas and it seems to have a buck. At WOT it does not hesitate at all. it does idle at 900 rpms(so says my stock tach).
3. I have noticed that my car is getting harder and harder to start when the motor warms up . last week I did not have this problem. when it is cold. all I have to do is hit the gas pedal once and start the car. when it is warm, I have to pump the gas and hold it as I crank it over.

1) yes, that IS it.
2) check your timing. I hope you don't have a stock cc distributor, as that would clearly be the problem. What's your timing at idle, then at 3500RPM ? (while sitting revving in park)
3) leaking fuel into intake ie. flooding, starter heat soak, heated fuel in lines, over
hook up the vapor canister first, correctly. then check your timing, that might solve #3 if you're lucky.

ok...
so the vapor canaster should get rid of the gas smell. is there any other part that has to be hooked up to the motor besides the vaccum line?
I am running a mallory unilite distributor with a blaster 2 coil and a 6a msd box
thanks for the info
