HEI coil drive capacity

Guys, how low a coil primary resistance can an 8-pin HEI module drive? I've been looking at the tech data on a number of aftermarket hot external HEI coils, and they all have a primary resistance between 0.3 and 0.5 ohms. I don't want to burn up the module! Any idea what's safe? Thanks!

Impedeance is just as important as resistance in this case. The CEMF from the coil core after saturation limits current flow as much as the resistance.

FWIW, stock coils are supposed to be "good" between 0.1 and 1 ohm primary resistance. Again, that says little about impedance.
