ZZX Cam owners inside!

I just bought one and am looking to put it in soon. I was wondering if any of you guys with the zzx cam have any type of vacuum problems? How is the driveability with this cam? TIA

Depends on your compression. I wouldn't run anything less than 11:1, 11:5 is better.

My 10.5:1 383 couldn't make enough vaccum with 242-254 110lsa, but the zzx has less overlap. A bud used to have the zzx in a 11.5:1 383 and it ran fine after tuning.

Run a vac pump if you dont have adequite vacuume!

Or change out that cam to something more suited to your compression ratio...

Maybe i can help

You wont have any vacuum problems with this cam.I had stock brakes with no problems.Drivability is just fine,I suggest a Vigilante,Yank,ACT 3200-4000 stall to make the most of the ZZX.Although you could get away with a tad less converter. If you have a T-5 or t-56 you will be good to go.This cam pulls hard from 3500 to 6800.Sounds nice too You will enjoy it!
