which would be the better heads for my build, i had two sets of heads for rebuild. 87 350 block with roller rockers or the heads from from my old 86 non roller. i have seen the HP numbers from both of these years cars and the 87 makes more than the 86. is this because of the heads or what.
any help would be great. thanks

 

the 350 heads will lower your compression, unless thats your goal, pass the 350 on to the next guy.

 

my bad, i meant to say that both engines are 305 not 350

but i'd wouldn't use either....

heads on new moter are 14101081 and the old motor are 14014416. so which one should flow better
