This is the set-up so far;
No ones real sure on how much horse power and torque I should be getting, so was hoping for a ruff number. Also any suggestions on how to improve this setup. Thanks

I was plaining on putting 1988 centerbolt 305HO heads on off a Monty SS for the compression bump, but I'm still having trouble finding out if thats a good idea or not(Think my friend still has them if need be). Was shooting for a 350hp-350 on an extremely low budget.
FYI we didn't do anything to the heads besides new springs and valve seals..
This car is my daily-driver if that helps any.

I know I need a MSD box still and probably a new mechanical fuel pump...

 

I think the cam is capable of getting you 260-270 hp with the right compression ratio (9.5 or so:1) and heads.

But you could wind up with 200 hp with poor heads and CR.

 

i'd grab those 081 heads and port them a tad.
what pistons are in the block?

I don't think you *need* an MSD box. what distributor are you running?

that's a mild cam to go for 350HP, I don't think you'll make it. Definately not with the heads that are on it now. (casting #?)

 

Not sure what type they are.. we got a lower-end rebuild kit from Napa or Advanced Auto. I do know they look exactly like the stock ones we took out.

It was my understanding that this cam was more for torque then HP. After doing more research I think I should have got a different one, but it was only $20 from a friend still in the box..
As for the casting number on my current heads.. not sure. Can I find it without pulling the valve covers?

 

need to yank the valve covers to find the numbers . Mostly concerning yourself with the last 3 numbers . Like 081 , 113, 083 , etc . My setup in my sig got me 251/318 to the wheels untunned. Heads are just cleaned and a new 3 angle valve job stock valves
