Gurgling sound after engine shuts off? WTF!!!

Gurgling sound after engine shuts off? WTF!!!

What would internally make a sound of liquid draining, but not on the outside. It's not the radiator, it's not the rad resevior, nothing like that. But I can hear it right after the engine shuts off.

I've never heard that before, is that bad or normal? The overflow resevoir isn't bubbling.

Heh, I remember hearing that sound all the time in my dad's '85 with a 305. I don't know where the sound was coming from, but that wasn't the thing that finally killed it!

I hear that "gurgling" everyonce in a while on my 305 but I thought it might just be oil being sloshed around and dripping back in the pan?I hope its not coolant boiling
