Modded cyl head budget
Im about to go drop off a paire of vortec's at the machine shop.
I know he charges 100$ to gring down the guides, tho without seing the heads, there's obviously no way I can get an estimate ..
My plans are to get:
Compcams beehive springs (26918)
Compcams retainers (787)
STD port & polish
machined for .550+
Im willing to invest 500$ with a side pocket in case of extra's
How resonable does this sound ?

I tried .. didnt work out for me.
I rather let a pro do the job, and get his experience in the product, rather than test my beginner's porting skills
