Wont Restart when hott
Hey, i have been having the same issue since i have owned my GTA. When it gets hott it wont restart , it only happens when its hott outside not in the winter or the mornings. It will run fine when im driving but asoon as i shut it off it wont restart for like 2 hours untill it cools down all the way. Some times it will act like it is going to start but will then die, i can keep it running alittle if i, WOT and let off and keep doing that it will try to idle but will backfire and then die. I checked spark i took the coil wire off the dizzy and its still sparks and im still getting fuel, but the gas is really hott i dont know if that has anythign to do with it but its kinda abnormal hott. it has new dizzy, wires, plugs, and spark control module the only thing i havent done yet is the coil. So can anyone help me out , im tired off waiting hours to leave somewhere because my car wont start , thanks chris

what condition is the car? stock? stock motor and intake? stock fuel line location? headers or exhaust manifolds?

ya no , its far from stock it is all bolt on though it has edelbrock headers, ported plenum and runners, fuel press regulator, hypertec chip, 3" catback and tranny work and a bunch of other stuff that wouldnt have anything to do with the prob , i just got done taking it for a ride since its late and cool outside i didnt smash on it just cruzin around and she was fine took her home and she restarted fine , its only when im beatin on her alittle and its hot outside when it happens

its usually caused by a poorly designed fuel delivery system with which these cars had brand new from the factory. Check if your fuel pump is struggling to deliver the fuel, you could also install a return style FPR to help with keeping the fuel cool...its just basically diagnosing your fuel system and make upgrades/improvements where necessary, thats the only way to fight vapor lock.

its the starter selenoid. It gets to hot then wont send signal to the starter and start the motor. im in the process installing a mustang remote mount selenoid..
It its most likely vapro lock like others have mentioned, although it could also be the starter getting heat soaked. But that wouldn't last 2 hous or so, I'd bet on vapor lock.

Hard restart
Ditto, I would wrap either the exhaust where it gets close to the fuel lines or wrap the fuel lines themselves with header wrap or a makeshift heat shield (aluminum or sheet metal, cheap and easy to bend).
One other option is to raise fuel pressure, because for you physics majors out there when you increase the pressure you increase the point at which the liquid boils. Just a thought.

Is not the starter because it cranks fine it will crank untill my car dies , but most likely its the vapor lock. I noticed there was tons of pressure in the tank when i drive it for a while so i did the whole drilling 1/8 hole in the cap, and i got under the car and checked the vent valve. It had stuff cramed in it so i blew it out and it works good now , but so far ive driven it twice in the afternoon it was about *80 outside i smashed alittle to see if it would still start, and its started every time since i drilled those holes. So i dont know maybe that fixed it or maybe something else but im going to buy some of that heat wrap today anyways to help cool down the fuel

You really need more data during the times that it won't start. Do you have spark at the plugs? What is your fuel pressure? Are your injectors firing?
Vapor lock with a pusher electric pump system is extremely unlikely. By definition.
