temp sensor on heads

i just put a new set of heads on my car and i have to hook up the temperature sensor but i cant get the plug off , is there any way of relocating the sensor??

you may be able to relocate it to the intake manifold on the front crossover depending on your intake.

Depending on the intake you may have a couple of spots on the crossover to use.

You could also put in in the water neck if you still have the factory one with the 2 threaded holes. but it wouldnt be the best place to put it because when the thermosts goes your most likely not going to know it untill somethings on fire!

It will have 2 holes in the front coolant passage then.

Go pick yourself up an adapter and you should be ready to roll.

Available pretty much anywhere.

to put it correctly its a bushing your looking for. i cant remember the size off the top of my head but its something like 1/2"NPTx1/4"NPT that your looking for.

Just pull one of the plugs out of the intake and bring that and the sending unit down to the store with you. that way theirs no running back and forth.
