Car: 91 V8 Firebird
Engine: LO3 305 TBI V8
Transmission: 700r4

What are the advantages (if any) to using an LT1 starter on 305 TBI cars? Are they a hassle to install on VATS cars, and does anyone know of an alternative new starter with any advantages over stock that would work on a 91 Firebird with a 305 TBI and VATS?
Only times I seen them used in thirdgen's is to clear hooker Long tube headers since they are smaller.
Don't know if there is any advantage other then the use on that application. They are way expensive also which sucks.....
