Oil pessure sensor question

I swapped out my tired old L03 (89 RS) for a modified L98 setup (speed density). I pulled the oil pressure sensor from the L03 that was located above the oil filter. On the 350 block there is a bolt in the place where the sensor should go that I cannot get out. Allen head bolt, should have six sides, but this has been rounded/stripped. My question is, can I relocate the sensor to the top of the block at the back of the intake manifold?

Also, the water temp/fan switch that is located on the passenger side of the block on the 305 wil not fit the threads on the 350 block. Completely the wrong size. Is there some sort of reducer or something? The sensor is too small for the hole on the 350.

you ought to be able to relocate the oil sender to any port open to an oil passage, like the china wall or above the timing cover. for the temp sender you need a pipe bushing or fitting.
