Help installing speedo

Help installing speedo

I got a 145 mph speedo and yes its the right kind for my car i have the 85 mph one i cant even get my old one out 1st thing was at the end of my steering wheel there was some wired clamp thing i had to break off even after that seems like my 85mph just dosent not want to come out i've looked and looked and i cant see any thing holding it in but the cable behide it there is no way i can un screw the cable while the speedo is in help please! thanks.

Hey bro, there is like a metal clip that holds the speedometer cable in place. I don't remember how to exactly take it off but I am sure thats where you are stuck. If you do a search you should be able to find out how to take it off.

Dude if you broke something you might be screwed. First you need to remove the bezel, next there are 2 10mm bolts you need to take out that are where the light bulbs are (seat belts, brake etc) Next I find it easiest to pull down the fuse holder, stick you hand up into the dash and remove the speedo cable (unless you already broke it.) Installation is opposite of removal.

I got it in this morning thank god once i found them metal clip i got that cable off then finish it! Looks cool alot better then the 85 Mph one
