Need Engine Help!!!

I purchased an 88' roller block that is bored .040" over and milled for a 383 crank. The block came with a balanced rotating assembly with what I thought was a stock 350 Eagle crank. While assembling the engine I noticed that the crank did not match the stock one. I called Eagle and it turns out that it is a 383 crank. However, the pistons that I have are for a 350, Federal Mogul hypereutectic pistons (H345NP40). I have Eagle 5.7" press pin lightweight rods (SIR5700BPLW). I will be putting a speed density TPI setup on the engine with an Edelbrock baseplate and runners. I am looking to buy DART Pro Aluminum heads to put on but I am not sure about the size or what type of cam. I want to car to be powerful (350-400 HP) but also street friendly.

So, here are my questions:

Will it be better to go ahead and buy 383 pistons and have everything balanced again or if I should just get a 350 crank?

Will the rods I have work with the 383 setup?

Will the TPI setup feed enough air to run a 383?

I appreciate everyones help and I hope to be of help in return.

You can use your 350 pistons if you get some shorter 400 rods. Most builders wouldn't recommend that, though.

You'll have to be the one to decide whether to go get 383 pistons or a 350 crank. If you go with 5.7" 383 pistons, your rods will work fine.

The TPI is going to be hard-pressed to handle the 350, so it doesn't make a lot of sense to go even bigger.

Engine Help!

The TPI will probably be temporary since it seems everyone I talk to gets bored with power quickly. So would I experience any adverse effects with having a 383 with TPI?

From what I have read the engine will have tons of torque but only to about 5,000 RPM.

Thanks for your help!
