runs then dies

Aloha,

Maybe someone can help me out there. I have a 1989 2.8 litre mutiport fuel injected v6, The problem is it will run sometimes for a little while the just dies off. I put a new fuel pump, fuel filter, checked the injectors,checked the pressure regulator, checked for vaccum leaks, no moisture in the distributor, new wires, new plugs,new aircleaner. Very clean engine and replaced the head gasket and did a valve job about 3000 miles ago. I thought I was a pretty good mechanic but this one has got me stumped. Help!! Please

Mahalo, {Thank You}

Welcome Aboard!

You've done all the work to the fuel delivery system, but neglected to list the standing fuel pressure (while running).

And just to help us a bit, how long is "a little while" before it dies?

Aloha,

I haven't checked the pressure in pounds but judging by the way the gas spurts out from the pressure valve I say it's enough. It will run for about a minute, I can rev her up to about 4 grand then she just dies off. I also replaced the ecm, and Iac valve. I'll get a pressure gauge and see how many pounds it auctually is.
