Hello all! I had a problem the other day that has me puzzled.

I went to the city and it was very hot (over 90*). The car was running warm (around 220*). When I was going down the side streets, my car felt like it kind of had a hesitation/miss off and on. Then I smelled gas. I continued driving around and then it went away but did it again later.

FYI - I recently found out my new 200* aux fan switch broke and wasn't working during my trip (primary was working ok though). Also, I did look under the car and didn't see gas dripping anywhere.

Since then, the car seems to be running ok, although it hasn't been as hot.

Does anyone have any ideas why this would happen?

I know this is kind of odd but I can't think of what would cause the problem.
