Dart block questions, and crank?
I am thinking about getting the Dart iron Eagle, the one that can be turned into a 455 CI small block. I was curious if this was a good idea to go with this brand of block, not for the 455 purposes, but for a 426, 4.125 bore and 4" stroke. They give you the option for 400 mains or 350 mains, what are the pros and cons of each. They also give you the option to use a BBC cam or the SBC cam. What are the pros and cons of those. Other than that does anyone know where i can get a good high quality forged low compresion piston for this block, for a turbo buildup, 8.5 : 1 area( I sure do miss my ear that got cutoff in that accident, luckily i get to sue the person who hit me) Thanks again guys.
