strange miss on #8 cylinder

Picked up a miss the other day and narrowed it down to number 8 cylinder by grounding plug wires individually. So far did the noid test, pulled the wire visually inspected it and ohmed it 72 which MSD states 50 per foot so its right on, changed plug, pulled valve cover checked springs and rockers, checked fuel pressure, did a compression test 140lbs, and still to no avail. Im down to the injector which I just put in a new set when I built the motor. I still need to check for a vaccuum leak around that port on the intake but Im looking for suggestions.

Pull the plug and make sure it isn't fouled (grounding the spark). Check injector resistance. Then listen to the injector with a stehoscope.

already ohmed the injector, all tested the same. Plug was a little fouled, swapped it with new one but no change.

You have spark, and you have compression. The only thing lacking is fuel. Try swapping the injector connector with #6 just to see if it makes any difference (possible wiring issue). Beyond that, if fuel pressure is correct, about all that's left is that injector (clogged inlet screen, poor patterm, stuck) or a major vacuum leak on that cylinder.

It turned out to be the injector, I ordered a new one from summit swapped it and miss is gone. I didnt see any trash in the screen but definitely wasnt getting much fuel through it. On a side note I think accel switched suppliers on their injectors, the replacement one I got is raw finished with a different body design and different pintle, this one has three ports on the bottom versus the single one on the original.
