I thought they had their own "L-98 angle" or that was for the 113 aluminum heads only ?

Only the aluminum heads used the angle plug setup.

from experience of my own i would deffinatly go with straight! If you go angled you will need to use shorty hearder plugs. Straight plugs you can use any.
