now that i found it help be get it off

now that i found the oil pressure sending unit how do you get it off. my is all oil soaked and i cant see how you get it off and tips will be good .

Axle/Gears: 10 bolt, true-trac, 3.73
It should be threaded in. Turn it gently. It's soft brass I think, so don't shear it off. PB blaster or something shouldn't be needed, as the threads should be oiled. You could heat it up with a torch if you wanted.

i dont know as if a torch on an oil soaked motor would be a good idea...

Can you holler FIRE!?!?!

That said, you should be able to spin it off by hand. If not their is a hex on the back side of the sending unit (facing the block) that you can use a wrench on.

haha, well hopefully if he fired up the torch and crawled in there he would have said this doesnt look too good!

But ya never know, people burn down their cars all the time
