Are these heads worth anything?
#462624 I have some heads on my camaro and I think the guy who sold me the engine said they had 1.7x intake valves, so I'm guessin theyre not too good.
The heads I'm looking at have 72cc? combustion chambers and 1.94/1.5 valves.
I'm trading a Edelbrock Torquer II Intake manifold for these and I was thinkin it'd be at least better than my current heads because I really can't afford to buy the heads I want. So what do you guys think?

The heads you have are lightweight casting, 70s smogger heads. The ones you're trading for are probably the same thing. I would definetly check out Jegs, or even the parts for sale forum for a set of Vortecs, or L98 iron heads.

Well, getting rid of the T2 is a good thing, as far as that goes.
However, it sounds like you're going the wrong way. Scrap cast iron is worth less than scrap cast aluminum. From what you've said, I'd say you're upside-down in that trade.
Sounds to me like what's ACTUALLY going to happen, is you'll get some crap truck heads from the 70s, maybe even exactly like the ones you already have, MAYBE EVEN the same casting; and it'll cost you $100 or more in gaskets, hoses, fluids, etc. to find that out.
I'd sit tight if I was you, maybe get the actual facts about these other heads and post them before you jump on it. Casting numbers, condition, work that's been done to them, the motor you want to put them onto, stuff like that. It's not impossible that it's something that could be beneficial to you, but from your description so far, it doesn't sound like it.
