fuel filter on 85 carb

Engine: 305 carb and a 4cyl pos
Transmission: both have a 5spd
fuel filter on 85 carb

hey how do i get to the fuel filter on the 85 carb i just picked one up and am looking to install it and i dont see it is it in the tank or on one of the fuel lines please help want to get that changed out... and how dificult is it to install

Transmission: T10, hurst shifter
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt, true-trac, 3.73
it's in the front part of the carb.
you'll need a 5/8" flare wrench, to turn the nut on the line, and a 1" wrench to hold the nut in the carb still. Once you disconnect the line, loosen that 1" nut that you just held still. That'll puke 1/2 cup of gas, and your filter will fall out, with a spring. Put the new filter in, keeping track of the direction of the filter, (rubber thingie in the center), and the spring, and clearish white washer.
