Car dead, help!!
I was working on my window alignment with the radio on. When I was finished I decided to go to the store. The voltage was at 13v lower than usual. Went to the store with no accessories on, and noticed voltage was dropping slowly. On the way back I lowered my power window and the voltage dropped to 10v lights went off, radio went off, wipers barely moving. I don't know how it made it home but it did, no turn signals, lights, radio, nothing just a sluggish car. Finally got home and turned off the car, and it will not turn over. Is this an alternator issue? Did my battery go? Is something draining my battery?

The problem: More than likely the voltage regulator in your alternator gave up the ghost, and the battery, being forced to run everything, was drained. Cost of a new alternator and a battery recharge- maybe 130 bucks. The look on your face as you are driving your car again- Priceless.
LOL had same thing happen to me was on my way to work when it did it change out the alt and you will b good to go only cost me 70 dollars for new alt and i charged batt up with jumpers lol

Update
Checked and voltage back up to 11v ?? How did it recharge itself??? Voltage still won't hold, is this a good indicator of a bad alternator?

If the voltage won't hold up normally, imagine how bad it would be under load. Change the alternator and put a smile on your face.
