vacumm line question.
well i was wondering if anyone knows what this is for. it is located between the distributor and the egr, screws into the intake and has a vacuum line running off it it. (sorry i don't have a picture) when i remove the line it stumbles then the idle goes up. the reason i am asking is the intake i want to put on doesn't have a spot for this. my engine is a 91 305 tbi.

ANY vacuum line will make the motor run terrible if you take it off. There's nothing unusual about that.
That particular one is the vacuum supply (
what a collection of words) to the HVAC system, so that it can route the air discharge to the floor or windshield or dash vents.

you could "T" another vacuum line to use it, or drill your new intake manifold.
