What size cam can i use with stock 350 l98 heads with nothing done ????????Please answer i can't find an aswer any where.

The main thing you want to look out for is lift. Anything up around .470" or more is likely to cause retainer-to-guide seal contact unless you machine the guides down or do other procedures to open up this clearance.

In other words, don't get a .465" lift cam and then put on 1.6 rockers. See what I mean?

Generally, this means a farily modest cam. Regardless, upgrading the valve springs is highly recommended even with a modest cam. For a mild street performance cam a set of Comp 981 springs is a big improvement over stock and they drop right in with no machining required whatsoever.

I put a ZZ4 cam in. but I had new springs to accomodate the lift and screw in studs and guideplates.

Just started it up today and it sounds mmm nice!
